Oil Change

Our auto directory lists local repair shops, body shops, tire shops, and towing services. Check ratings and read recent reviews, ask for a written estimate before work starts, and look for shops that offer a warranty on parts and labor. Many independent shops are clustered along the major corridors like University Drive and Memorial Parkway.

Prices depend on your vehicle, the type of oil, and where you go. Quick-lube chains, dealerships, and independent shops all charge differently, and synthetic oil costs more than conventional. Call two or three places for a quote, and ask whether a filter and inspection are included.

Huntsville has a large concentration of new and used dealers, with many along the main highways such as University Drive and Memorial Parkway. Compare prices across several dealers, get pre-approved financing so you can negotiate from a stronger position, and have an independent mechanic inspect any used car before you buy.
