Lobsterfest

Lobsterfest is St. Thomas Episcopal Church's annual community fundraiser, and the church describes this year as its 33rd. The church lists fresh Maine lobsters as the centerpiece, with lobster rolls for anyone who prefers to skip the cracking, plus BBQ smoked on site by the church's BBQ Bandits, sides, soups and desserts.
The church also lists an artisan fair, a kids makers market, children's activities (bounce house, slide, games, crafts and face painting) and live music. The organizers say live music and the kids' play area are free and open to the public, and that pre-ordering food is highly recommended because only a limited selection is sold on the day. Food service runs 10 am to 4 pm, and all pre-ordered food must be picked up on Nov. 14.
Proceeds go to Patterson Place, First Stop, the Honduras Medical and Educational Mission and Sleep in Heavenly Peace. See the official Lobsterfest page for ordering and details.
