North Star Limited Christmas Train Ride

The North Alabama Railroad Museum in Chase runs the North Star Limited, its night-time Christmas season train, on December 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2026. Departures are at 5:45 pm and 7:45 pm from the Chase Depot, 694 Chase Road NE.

The museum describes a ride of about 45 minutes and says the North Star Limited runs at night, while its Santa Train runs in the daytime. The museum recommends booking well in advance for the Santa Train and North Star Limited.

Tickets are $35 each, and every rider needs a ticket regardless of age. Prices are subject to change and fees may apply. Guests are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. See the official schedule page for tickets.
