Punkin' Pickin' Extravaganza Train Ride

The North Alabama Railroad Museum in Chase runs its Punkin' Pickin' Extravaganza on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with departures at 9:30 am, 11 am, 1 pm and 2:30 pm from the Chase Depot, 694 Chase Road NE.

The museum describes a ride of about 45 minutes. The train goes down the line to Normal, where riders get off and the children pick a pumpkin from a patch, included in the ticket price, before everyone boards again for the return.

Tickets are $20 each, and the museum says every rider needs a ticket regardless of age. Prices are subject to change and fees may apply. The museum asks guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. See the official schedule page for tickets.
