River Clay Fine Arts Festival

The River Clay Fine Arts Festival is a juried art festival on the grounds of Decatur City Hall, which the organizers hold on the fourth weekend in October. The organizers describe an artist market with artists from North Alabama, the Southeast and across the country, plus live music, a children's art activity tent, student art exhibits from Decatur, Hartselle and Morgan County schools, chalk art and food trucks, with beer and wine available.
The organizers list a $5 weekend pass sold at the gate or online, with children 12 and under admitted free with an adult. They say the festival runs rain or shine and that well-behaved dogs are welcome. See the official site for daily hours.
The organizers also list a ticketed Friday, Oct 23 preview party, River Clay Rendezvous, at $60 including a weekend pass. Full details and tickets are on the official River Clay site.
