The Great Big Book Festival
The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library is presenting the Great Big Book Festival at the Downtown Huntsville Library on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day is built around reading, writing and meeting fellow book lovers.
The library lists free programming that includes an author panel, book signings, a selection of bookish vendors and food trucks. A ticketed keynote features author Ariel Lawhon talking about her historical novel The Pirate Queen.
The Downtown Library stays open for normal business hours during the festival. See the library's festival page for the author lineup and ticket details, or email [email protected] with questions.
