33rd Annual Crisis Services of North Alabama Turkey Trot 5K

Crisis Services of North Alabama hosts its 33rd annual Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, starting at 8 am at Spragins Hall. The organizers say you can run, walk, stroll or trot a USA Track and Field certified course, the same route used for the Huntsville Track Club's Twilight Run.

Registration is $30 through November 21 and $35 after that (plus a sign-up fee). Kids ages 5 and under can join the free Tiny Tot Turkey Trot, a 100-yard dash at 9 am, with no advance registration. The organizers say registrations support survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Bib pickup is at Fleet Feet Huntsville on November 23 to 25 or at Spragins Hall on race day, and the organizers say dogs are not allowed on the course.

See the official registration page for details.
