Galaxy of Lights 2026 at Huntsville Botanical Garden

Galaxy of Lights is Huntsville Botanical Garden's holiday light display, running November 13 through December 31, 2026 (closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). The Garden says this is its 31st season, with two new areas, Winter's Edge and Crystal Glade, adding about 200,000 lights.

Walking Nights follow an approximately 1.75-mile pathway at your own pace, with hot cocoa and treats along the way. Driving Nights, December 6 to 15 and December 28 to 31, let you see the lights from your vehicle, with first entry at 5:30 p.m. and last entry at 9 p.m.

Select Walking Nights add Dog Walking Nights, Sensory Hours at 4:30 p.m. and the Evergreen Express tram ride (separate ticket). The Galaxy of Lights 5K (November 30) and 3K Fun Run (December 1) run through the display. Walking Night prices vary by date; see hsvbg.org/galaxy-of-lights for tickets and the full calendar.
