Galaxy of Lights 3K Fun Run

The Garden's un-timed 3K Fun Run lets participants run or walk the Galaxy of Lights trail on Tuesday, December 1, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., ahead of the driving tour's opening for the season. The 1.8-mile course is mostly paved with occasional gravel sections.

Advance registration is required and closes Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. CT. The Garden lists registrations as final, non-transferable and non-refundable. Pets, headphones and non-registered participants over 3 years of age are not allowed on the course. Strollers are welcome, and unregistered children under 3 are welcome but do not receive a commemorative t-shirt. Registered participants get refreshments in the Nichols Arbor afterward.
