Spooktacular 5K & Monster Mile 2026

Fleet Feet Huntsville & Madison invites runners, walkers, ghosts and goblins to run in costume on Halloween morning, Saturday, October 31. The Spooktacular 5K starts at 8:00 AM on Church Street just north of the Huntsville Museum of Art, and the one-mile Monster Mile follows around 9:00 AM, as soon as the last 5K runners finish. Sign up for one or do both.

Awards and costume contest winners are announced around 9:30 AM, and runners should check in with the judges before 9:00 AM. The contest has categories from best animal costume to scariest, with a best-of-show top prize. Registration is $35 for the 5K, $25 for the Monster Mile and $40 for both, and the two-race option closes October 23.

Packet pickup is at Fleet Feet Huntsville, 2722 Carl T. Jones Drive, on Friday from noon to 6:00 PM, with race-morning pickup starting at 7:00 AM. Parking Garage M opens at 6:30 AM and is entered from Clinton Avenue and Church Street. Sign up on RunSignup.
