Tinsel Trail 2026 at Big Spring Park

Tinsel Trail, a tradition established by Downtown Huntsville, Inc., turns Big Spring Park into a holiday display of more than 450 live Christmas trees, each decorated by a local business, nonprofit or family. It runs November 27 through December 31, 2026.

Opening night is Friday, November 27, with the official lighting of Downtown Huntsville's Rocket City Tree at 6:00 PM. A Black Friday Market runs from 3:00 to 9:00 PM with local vendors and food trucks, and the evening includes live performances from the Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre and other local talent, plus photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 6 to 8 PM.
