Meals on wheels

Meals on Wheels in Huntsville is a program run by SeniorView out of the Studio 60 Senior Center on Drake Avenue SW. According to its website, it delivers meals to the homes of homebound seniors, with volunteers making the deliveries Monday through Friday during the late morning and early afternoon. The site says the menus are planned by a registered dietitian and that each meal includes an entree, a vegetable, fruit, bread and milk. It says the program serves most areas inside the Huntsville city limits and is for people age 60 or older who live in the city, are primarily homebound and are unable to cook or have no one at home to prepare meals.
