Campus No. 805
A former middle school turned brewery campus with Straight to Ale, Yellowhammer, and pizza on Clinton Avenue.

A Middle School That Now Pours Beer
Campus No. 805 is a 13-acre mixed-use development at 2620 Clinton Avenue W, at Triana Boulevard and Governors Drive. It sits in the former Roy L. Stone Middle School building, which started life in 1949 as a University of Alabama extension, later became S.R. Butler High School, and then Stone Middle School before it closed in 2009. Developer Randy Schrimsher bought the property in 2014, and the campus was billed as Alabama's first multi-brewery development.
Who Is Here
Straight to Ale has its brewery and taproom in the former gym, with a full kitchen (Ale's Kitchen). Yellowhammer Brewing is next door and shares the space with Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza. A few doors down Clinton Avenue, InnerSpace Brewing is a small, sci-fi-themed brewery with wood-fired pizza.
