Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment
A former textile mill turned arts complex with artist studios, galleries, live music, and restaurants under one roof.

A Mill Full of Makers
Lowe Mill is a former cotton mill at 2211 Seminole Drive SW that is now one of Huntsville's creative hubs. Lowe Mill describes itself as the largest privately owned arts facility in the United States. Inside, you will find working artists in their studios, with painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, ceramics, woodworking, printmaking, and more on display and for sale.
Eat and Drink Inside
You do not have to be shopping for art to spend an afternoon here. Happy Tummy and Kar's Char (Texas-style barbecue) are in the building, Dragon's Forge Cafe is a fantasy-themed coffee and sandwich spot with game nights and live music, and Piper and Leaf has a shop here.
Around the Neighborhood
The mill sits in West Huntsville, close to Stovehouse and Campus No. 805. Bandito Burrito is nearby, and there are outdoor concerts at times, so check the official site for the calendar.
