Five Points Historic District
A walkable turn-of-the-century neighborhood just east of downtown with independent boutiques, galleries, and cafes lining the streets.

A Historic Neighborhood You Can Shop
Five Points sits about a mile east of downtown Huntsville, near the base of Monte Sano Mountain, and takes its name from the intersection of Holmes Avenue, Pratt Avenue, California Street, and Andrew Jackson Way. The neighborhood grew up in the 1890s around a new streetcar line and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 for its Queen Anne and California Bungalow homes.
What Is There
The commercial strip has an eclectic, artsy mix of small shops, galleries, and locally owned restaurants and cafes, all walkable in an afternoon. The neighborhood also hosts PorchFest each spring, a free day of live music on neighborhood porches.
Nearby
It is a short drive from Monte Sano State Park if you want to pair a mountain hike with an afternoon of browsing shops.
