About Research Park

Cummings Research Park is the engine room of the Rocket City's economy. It is described as the second largest research park in the United States, with roughly 300 companies working in aerospace, defense, engineering, biotechnology, software, and manufacturing, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville next door. For visitors, it is mostly known as the home of Bridge Street Town Centre.

Bridge Street Town Centre is an open-air shopping and dining center at Old Madison Pike, Interstate 565, and Research Park Boulevard. It has more than 100 retail and dining options, plus a lake, a carousel, a train ride, and a splash pad in warm weather. Connors Steak & Seafood is the upscale steakhouse here, and BJ's Restaurants is the casual choice.
