Blossomwood

About Blossomwood

Blossomwood sits at the base of Monte Sano Mountain, close to downtown and near the Monte Sano Nature Preserve. It is the kind of neighborhood people move to for the location: quiet streets, mature trees, and quick access to both the city center and the trail system on the mountain.

Homes and Feel

Housing ranges from midcentury ranch-style homes to luxury custom builds, which gives the neighborhood a mixed, established feel. It is a residential neighborhood, so you come here to live, walk, and hike more than to shop or eat. For groceries, restaurants, and coffee you head a few minutes to downtown or Five Points.

Right Next to the Outdoors

The draw is the mountain. Monte Sano State Park and the Land Trust of North Alabama's Monte Sano Nature Preserve are both close, and Burritt on the Mountain is a short drive up. Our guide to the best hikes in Huntsville covers where to start.

Nearby Eats

Blossomwood does not have its own restaurant district, so most people head to downtown's Cotton Row, Pane e Vino, or the local spots around Five Points, like Big Ed's Pizza.
